Laser physics and electronics, previously employed by JDS Uniphase (Witney, UK), Afonics Fibreoptics (Witney, UK), Southern Photonics (Auckland, NZ) and Ellis Terry (Wellington, NZ).

What do I enjoy doing?

Bringing different technologies or subjects together to make something new or explain something complicated.

Aside from work, what do I enjoy doing?

In my spare time, I fly gliders, teach others how to fly gliders, look after a 3 acre property, get out walking or riding, stare at the stars, make and enjoy food, wine and coffee, and provide general entertainment for one wife, one cat and four chooks.
